If you are in need of complete relaxation, an Aromatherapy massage is just what you need. Suitable oils are selected and mixed to a synergistic blend and will be used in the massage treatment.

Most of our clients who ask for this treatment usually have a stressed life style, or just even find it hard to relax. The need to completely relax, to take away the stress, aches and pains of modern day life is what can be obtained by having this lovely massage.

This takes place in our treatment room, which is warm, quite with soft relaxing aromatherapy music in the background. The treatment lasts for one hour and afterwards you will feel relaxed and tired.

Aftercare treatment requires you to drink as much water as possible; this enables any toxins to flow from the body. You will also feel very tired and feel the need for an early nights sleep.

We ask that you do not bath or shower before retiring, the oils need to stay on your body to allow you to reap the therapeutic benefits, which they provide.

Swedish Massage

Swedish Massage is a much heavier massage. If you feel the need to have a treatment that will go further into massaging your muscles with a little more pressure applied, then this could be for you. This lasts for one hour and during the treatment either oil, talc or massage cream can be used. Aftercare treatment requires you drink as much water as possible to enable the toxins to flow from the body. You will feel tired and will feel the need to relax.

Swedish massage was developed in the late 1700's my medical doctors. The term 'Swedish massage' refers to a variety of techniques specifically designed to relax muscles by manipulating soft tissue to apply pressure against deeper muscles and bones, and massaging in the same direction as the flow of blood returning to the heart.

The main purpose of a full-body Swedish massage is to increase the oxygen flow in the blood and release toxins from the muscles.

Swedish massage shortens recovery time from muscular strain by flushing the tissues of lactic acid, uric acid, and other metabolic wastes. It increases circulation without increasing heart load. It stretches the ligaments and tendons keeping them supple and pliable. Swedish Massage also stimulates the skin and nervous system while soothing the nerves at the same time. It reduces stress, both emotional and physical, and is recommended for one's regular stress management program.

Indian Head Massage

You will sit comfortably in a chair while the back, neck and shoulders are exposed. Massage to these areas plus head and face are carried out.

The treatment lasts for approximately 40 minutes. Most clients feel so relaxed with this treatment that they usually fall asleep before it has been completed.

Aftercare requires you to drink as much water as possible and rest afterwards if you feel the need to.

Back & Neck Massage

This treatment is good for relieving strain and stress in the back and neck area.

You will lay comfortably on your front while the back, neck and shoulders are exposed.

The treatment will take approximately 30 minutes to complete.
